Loading to NVRAM post tune session

Just went RT last night for the 1st time thanks to alot of Q&A with a very generous member on here......much appreciated!

One small querie that I don't quite get is once I've finished editing and making changes RT how do I load the changes to the NVRAM so after the laptop is unplugged it all keeps working the way i tuned it to?

I have OSE Enhanced Flashtool V133 but am not too sure if it's relevant to my question?

if you are infact making realtime changes eg. with tunerpro emulation turned on, then it is actually updating the nvram as you go.

there is nothing needed to be done after that.

if you want to remove the nvram and put the tune on a normal memcal then just use the flash tool to "get bin" and use that ....

if however you are not making realtime changes then you need to go "write cal" in the flashtool and select the file you've just changed/saved and it will upload that to the nvram.

Yeah I didn't set "echo" to off and the dash screen was going nutso lol. Along with that it wasn't updating in RT

With the echo setting checked in the plugin settings you should be able to detect the ECU when starting TP - have the key on and start TP, it will search and then beep displaying OSE 12P V111 in the bottom left of the screen.

Should be able to log and tune then

don't forget to hit the emulate button up the top to make relatime changes, its the blue CHIP icon

Awesome stuff!

Went RT for the 1st time tonight with everything working.....

I dig the function, Offset +/-............great way of taking it up a level without doing manual entries. Kalmaker feels so jurassic compared to TP now.

Will hit the dyno next week after playing around with the software some more to learn what does what.

Maybe your allready over this but the best couple of tips i can give are to use the monitors, and overlay things like target afr and wideband afr, and set the display range of both to 10 - 20 afr, and keep in mind that the 3d graphs can be keyboard controlled - make sure they have focus and use ctrl left/right/up/down and when points are selected to adjust graphically use ctrl +/-
