i guess the fact it can't turn the tyres would indicate its an auto ?
bout the only thing i can suggest is it might need more timing down low ..... but also i don't know what the 276 cam is ? what brand is it ?
if its got a stock converter in it and a cam that makes power say 2000rpm the thing will struggle without a bigger converter .....
What to monitor/ adjust in RT?

Re: What to monitor/ adjust in RT?
Yeah, it's auto alright! It's been freshened up with a shift kit/ servo Combe behind a new stock stall speed converter.
The crane 276 is supposed to max out banana manifolds nicely with a predicted power rang of 1400-4500rpm. Mates tell me it is a simlar grind to a Group A Walki?
I have a fair bit of timing in the bottom end but just haven't had time to go over the tables and smooth them out yet. Doesn't seem to be responding much to changes in the bottom end

Re: What to monitor/ adjust in RT?
the only thing i could suggest is to stall it up on the brake as you would to do a burnout with the realtime going .... get to the point of where it is just about to break traction then see where its at in the spark table, try adding and removing some timing in that area and see what it does to the map readings, i guess also make sure the fueling is right at those points.
i think you'll find a stock converter should flare about 1400rpm before it breaks traction, in which case the converter is probably ok enough for that cam, but might just need some helping out with a bit extra timing or fuel in that area..

Re: What to monitor/ adjust in RT?
Just went real time with the wideband hooked into the ecm last night and feel I'm way behind the 8 ball
I used the wideband converter and had a few dramas with that and after pasting wideband logs to the table and entering the converted values back to tp it seemed that my afrs didn't really improve?
Is the VE table the only way to adjust fuel? Not at all happy with AFRs and want to just adjust fuel amount.
Before we started we changed to 36#hr supercharged v6 injectors and adjusted the base injector rate to get a nice idle and match target AFR to actual AFR but on the logs it shows injectors to be at 100% duty cycle through the rev range under load which I know is wrong because people get 200rwkw with these babies on L67s no worries. What am I doing wrong? Please advise
Attached 2 logs and the bin I'm tuning on if someone can look into them for me. $12P BLCF and XDF

Re: What to monitor/ adjust in RT?
according to your log the injector duty cycle is 38% at 4600rpm .... plenty of room
umm it appears if you are using $12P v1.11 1 bar adx then the histogram is screwed, its got the wrong sensors being logged in it!
also are your wideband analog input settings supposed to be 0v = 10afr and 5v = 20afr ? if so then thats ok!

Re: What to monitor/ adjust in RT?
202. Just got home and had a chance to go over the logs again. Looks like the problem is with my history tables.
The injector duty cycle shows at 98%-100% all over the shop but now that I've selected Injector duty cycle to be displayed in Monitor the value is like you said at a max of 40% or so.
My Tech edge wideband was also meant to be calibrated to 0v 9 AFR- 5v 19 AFR and not the 10- 20 AFR I had it at
Was also getting a TPS voltage low CEL as well.
Will go back and get the injector rate right now that the wideband should be working right and take it from there.
Out of interest, I assume you guys disable BLM prior to tuning but what else needs to be made null or disabled in the ways of compensation factors?

Re: What to monitor/ adjust in RT?
Had a strange issue with the car the other day. When cruising at light throttle the engine would suddenly sound like it was flooding and lose all power.
2 things to note which I can't quite put my finger on are: Getting a TPS voltage low CEL when this happens and also the displayed roadspeed wavers around 22kph even though we are clearly accelerating up to 60ish. It usually only happens in 3rd and 4th gear (auto).
Check it out around 19sec and 34 sec on the monitor screen.
Any ideas because my diagnostic experience is pretty average and I think we may have to start chasing TPS function along with other things. Just want to make sure it isn't something tune related as the tune obviously needs alot of work still. Just need to get everything doing what it should so we can head to the dyno and tune it properly as I'm not quick enough to catch it on the street yet.

Re: What to monitor/ adjust in RT?
i'd be checking a few things .....
1. tps voltage when logged in the monitor is 0v most of the time, this is an issue, it should be about .5v at 0 % tps and should increase from there.
2. apparently you've changed gears and are doing 4000rpm in atleast 2nd gear (hard to say what gear its in) and the road speed is 18kph! so either something is wrong there or your pulses per km is up to shit!
3. for such little throttle opening im very suprised the map sensor is sitting on nearly 100kpa most of the time!
my guess is you have a dodgy earth or reference voltage issue ...
one way to test it would be to put a wire on the tpe reference voltage line and then put that into the 0-5v input and see what the reference voltage is doing when you get the issue.
definately sounds like something is dodgy like the reference voltage though cause that feeds 4v to alot of the sensors so if its wrong so will be the readings from them!

Re: What to monitor/ adjust in RT?
Upon a members advice I've just singled out all Malfs that I can see that may relate to TPS. I'm guessing that one of Malf 22, 33, 34, 45 are where you were referring to? Could you guys shed any light on where I should start?
Malf 19- Min Delta TPS Between Loops 1.95%
Malf 21- High TPS A/D limit 246 A/D Counts
Malf 21- TPS High- Time limit 2.00 sec
Malf 22- Low TPS A/D limit 8.00 A/D Counts
Malf 33- Throttle position limit 3.13%
Malf 34- Minimum RPM for TPS test 1200 RPM
Malf 34- Minimum throttle position 19.92%
Malf 45- TPS% Upper Threshold 14.84%
Malf 45- TPS% Lower Threshold 1.95%
In the Item/ data lists DTC22 Low tps voltage low showed up so I think that's where the solution lays as the TPS has checked out alright in tests with the multi meter. How would I go about adjusting Malf 22 which is by default 8.00 A/D counts? Also what exavtly does the unit A/D counts refer to?
