hey guys i have a vs series 3 5litre ute and have recently had roller rockers and a heatseeker cam installed, after speaking to my mechanic ive been tthe computer cant hanlde the changes so i need to buy a new one or it can be remapped does anyone have any ideas on what i can do

You wont need to buy a new ECU, yours is capable enough. And with the free tools on here is someting you can do yourself if you want. Have a read around the forums, read the getting started guide and download the tools it mentions (TunerPro, memcal ID tool, the A6 XDF to match your setup etc)

well if its anything like my brothers VS3V8 all it really needed to work with the cam change was higher idle ....

WIll probably depend on the size of the cam. What are the specs of the cam?
Given these are MAF based they will know how much air is going in, as Holden202 said, bump up the idle a bit and it should be close.
Maybe able to play around with the spark a bit, especially if you are running 95RON as a minimum.

Alan Gibbs will tune it with Kalmaker and come out to you, but it wont be cheap!
