Hi guys, anyone know how i could put a at29f040b 32pin plcc flash chip in place of a 27c512 32pin plcc eprom and make it work?
will i need to run wires on the board ?

yeah either that or you'd need to make some sort of adaptor board for it .... probably not really worth the effort....

I wouldn't bother trying - of the 32 pins, 28 of them would need swapping :shock:
Are you looking to get more capacity, or just upgrading to flash?

yeah trying to upgrade to flash, i will see if i can find a sst27fs512 plcc somewhere, should do the trick

Moates still sell sst27sf512 dip which is what you want .It drops straight in ,no fucking around.

28Pin DIP, why do you want PLCC?

What ECU are you working on that has a 512 PLCC?
