base timing is ok, was 7btdc so fixed that.
it's always been slow to rev up and a bit gutless thats why i turbo'd it. it goes better than before but still nowhere near as good as ttvn commodore.

10:1 at wOT is a bit rich, but it may also need more timing, really need to get it on a dyno to get it right.

Ok, I'll lean her off a bit and have another run.

There's still something funny going on with the afr just off idle and very light load. when the car starts cold... it's rich as per the cold afr table but once the engine warms up to around 80 deg C and if i go for a drive up the road and when i come back and come up my driveway the wideband seems to go lean just off idle.
up to 17:1

If i go away and come back in 5 minutes, the afr is back to normal. There must be a table not compensating for something.. or compensating too much. I thought it might have been the volts vs injector pw but I did change that map to the siemens 80lb specs. and if i watch afr while i turn on all electrical accessories, lights, fans, heater, spotlights etc it doesn't seem to affect it in any way.

The spark needle in the tunerpro dash goes crazy at idle, how can i turn that off so it doesn't jump around so much? the engine has more than enough grunt to hold idle in gear or with accessories on so i don't think i need the spark correcting itself at idle looking for tourqe.

as for the long cranking at startup, do i just change the numbers in the first and second stage cranking to try to get it firing quicker?

The motor sort of wants to go hard (would beat a 5l commodore) but yeah, I want her to go a bit better than this.

What should the crank reference angle be and does it make any difference regards to the position of the dizzy cap and leads on the dizzy cap.
my number 1 cylinder lead is in the 2 oclock position if i climb on the motor from the front of the car looking down at it and the blue clip with the 3 wires is at about 12 oclock.

i found the setting to turn off the spark idle correction and now the spark stays at 28 at idle... and everywhere else in the 0-100kpa table. it is set at 28 degrees for the entire map..except for boost.

I'll see how that goes. and i think the narrowband might be buggered, just stays betwee .400 and .500 volts no matter what i do with the throttle so i have turned the closed loop idle etc off untill i check that out.

There is a setting for narrowband lean and narrowband rich... what should that number be ?

Dont touch ref angle. If it is 10 deg on the timing light in diag mode then its apples. I tried fucking with the injector settings on siemens too, ended up having similar issues. Either too rich or too lean but i found it worked best if i left them all at stock vn settings and set it to drop back to single fire under 2ms. The settings are near injector rate.

I see the settings for the async doeble fire etc but haven't got a clue what they actually mean...? still haven't learnt to speke gobblygook but working on it.

wtf do these do in english please ? :

Minimum bpw for sync double fire upper value. mines on 4ms
Minimum bpw for sync double fire min value. mines on 3ms
Minimum bpw for async fuel delivery. mines on .6ms
Maximum asyncronous pulse width. mines on 10.99ms
I played with them before so there probable wrong?

and my kinflow is 0.05 for the 80lbers.. i know thats not quiet right but saved me changing the whole ve table

The first two are what u want. The lower value means it drops into single fire under that. The upper resumes double fire above that. Id go 2 and 3 to start.
