the third one is at .6 because i thought that was the smallest the injector could fire off a predictable and repeatable amount of juice.. according to the siemens specs. is that right?
do you reckon to change the 4ms to 3ms and the second one one to 2ms? I'll give er a go.
I'd be happy if i could get 0-100 in under 4.5 seconds. maybe she just needs more boost., That intercooler made a big diff to the air temps, before i was seeing 100 but now she comes right down to 40 odd

Nah 3rd and 4th in your list are the limits for the async pulses like pump shot enrichment.
I havent looked at your log yet but if your wideband is any richer than 11.5 then it will bog down and lose power. Also make sure your base timing is right coz lack of spark hits it hard too.

Re: turbo 383 ready to tune.
you need to have it set right and then change the ENTIRE ve table, thats how it works.V8hilux wrote:my kinflow is 0.05 for the 80lbers.. i know thats not quiet right but saved me changing the whole ve table
i have 80lb siemens and i am running .036 injector rate, but this is also for a 6 cylinder, the numberfor your car will work out somewhere about .037 - .042.
at the end of the day the RIGHT way to do it is the tune the entire VE table to be right for your motor then if you have say 100 ve in your peak WOT area you need to adjust the injector rate to get it back to about 90 in that cell....
yes it is alot of work, but thats the only way your going to get everything working properly!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

this will be why you have temp related over/under fuellingV8hilux wrote:my kinflow is 0.05 for the 80lbers.. i know thats not quiet right but saved me changing the whole ve table

Re: turbo 383 ready to tune.
yeah the temp thing and the varying afr's are driving me nuts.
If i punch in 80lb into the kinjflow calculator for petrol i get 0.039 I have mine at 0.05 so looks like i will be changing it tomorrow.
The tuning guide on this site recomended going a couple lbs smaller in the kinjflow calculator... should i go a couple lb's smaller to 78lb or is it like 10% smaller needed and I should punch in 70lb?
If i was to change from 0.05 to the 0.039 would that make my ve table numbers go bigger or smaller? some of the ve cells are in the 80% mark as is. Should the boost ve cells be 90% max or should they be over 100% ve.

Re: turbo 383 ready to tune.
the bigger the number the richer it will be ..... so going to .039 will lean your entire tune off ....
as far as boost, no idea never done it

Re: turbo 383 ready to tune.
boost cells should be under 100%. there is a boost multiplier that is used in addition to the boost VE to calculate the fuel, that is how enough fuel is calculated without going over 100%. You just need to log and tune the VE though.
