What ended up being the cause?

Cant say exactly. Cracked a can of jim and pondered the issue, come to conclusion had to be an interference went under the hood armed with a few ringys and a shifter tightened every
Nut bolt associated with with power check all leads fuses etc were seated snugly. Had more jim cans, and BAM.... the issue was gone. Old mate jim never fails.

Bit of a follow-up. Car coughed and stalled last night whilst out logging and refused to go. Towed it home and after some investigating was getting ready the change the cas but thought check a few more things before ripping in, pulled plug to dfi under coil pack cleaned crc'd 7mm bolt was a bit loose. Put plug back in tightened bolt, now starts first spin. Makes sense seeing as the clip-on dust cover is busted and explains the issues with tp data errors loose plug would cause electrical noise for sure wouldnt it? So 202 your right the beams didnt really fix it came back to bite me when the haze cleared

At least now you have actually found something, nothing worse than issues that fix themselves! Could also explain the code 47 you have been getting. Hopefully now it keeps working

not trying to be negative but i have seen CAS errors that go away once the car cools down .... just keep that in mind!

Yep expect the worst to avoid dissapointment. I do have the cas in mind still hence the 30 odd hot starts and close to home test drives ive put car through today but since cleaning that plug i cant get the thing to play up at all......time will tell im sure you guys will be the first to hear...Holden202 wrote:not trying to be negative but i have seen CAS errors that go away once the car cools down .... just keep that in mind!
