Just found a hurdle to jump :hmm: I received some chips & sockets that I ordered from Futurlec that has taken 4 weeks to arrive, I ordered 6x AT29c512 & 2x ICS28MT trouble is the chips have 32 pins & the sockets have 28 which is what the original chips have.

funny they were 32 pin chips you can still use them though just wire the 4 extra pins on the end with the cutout to 5V pin on the eprom and stack the bins in tunerpro or burn it with an offset i can send a 32 pin socket to help join the legs together so you just plug the 32 pin socket into the 28 pin socket and can still pull the chip to burn it .did you get the email with the 2 bar bin and xdf

14.7 is what i get when viewing your bin in tunerpro .... are you using $5D xdf ? if not that may be your problem.

Helps when you use the right xdf  Makes more sense

I've got a copy of a 2bar bin from delcowizzid  which I hope to use this weekend. Now a couple of questions
If I wanted to add some more fuel(as I'm using methanol)what do I adjust?
What do I find the RPM limiter under?

well if you have different flow injectors you should be changing the injector rate to suit it, you will normally change the VE table higher for adding more fuel and lower for less fuel without the right size injectors and / or wrong injector rate you'll probably find you get to 100 ve and its still too lean .... in that case you may have to change the injector rate just to get enough room in the VE Table.

however for methanol the air/fuel ratio table should be changed but im not really sure what it should be .... i know the 14.7 points in this table should be on about 6.4 i think for methanol .... probably wouldn't be too hard to work out the difference between 14.7 and 6.4 and then apply that multiplication to the whole table ?!?!?!

alot of this is all trail blazing stuff so it might take a bit of trial and error to get the thing working properly.....

well i couldn't help my self :D

i worked out that 6.4 versus 14.7 is approx 2.296875 :D so i divided the whole AFR table by that figure and this is what i came up with:

Petrol AFR Table
14.80 14.7 14.7 14.7 14.7 12.4 12.4 12.2 12.2
14.80 14.7 14.7 14.7 14.7 12.6 12.6 12.4 12.4
14.80 14.7 14.7 14.7 14.7 12.8 12.8 12.4 12.4

would someone else like to comment if they think this is a reasonable conversion ?

the theory sounds good to me. you should also look at changing KAFSTCN: Run A/F Param - Stoichiometric A/F ratio to 6.4 , I believe that is the value it looks for to enter closed loop so you can get it to trim its fuel (BLM) via your narrowband O2 sensor wherever it sees 6.4 in your AFR table.
