Re: Help with tuning
Ok. You will need to be fairly specific on mods if you want people to help - if its all standard then your going to have to start looking for things like low fuel pressure, clogged injectors etc
You will likely need test the IAC too. Try getting it idling and in RT change the commanded idle speed. See if the engine reacts and starts idling at the speed you set.

Re: Help with tuning
Ok, I rebuild the engine with, 40th flat tops, 10:1 comp, cam specs hyd (below), vn alloy heads just rebuilt. 64cc Combustion Chamber
190cc Intake Runner, 2.02 Intake Valve, 1.600 Exhaust Valve. HSV extractors, stock exhaust, rear muffler gone, mufflers under the car a pretty much gutted lol will do for now
. roller rockers. cold air intake. injectors, cant remember spec but when i bought them i was after hsv/blue i think they are, and they sold me one that was a slightly better injector (red plastic type) for memory they might be 36-38LB and 440cc not sure? Fuel pressure is run a constant 3bar AFPR. New ignition module, new IAC, new TPS
I dont have any pollution PCV working as yet, i having it running into the air box as a temporary thing.
Gearbox has a B&M shift improvement kit and corvette 2nd gear servo, 3500rpm stall.
IAC is new so should be working.
Where do i change commanded idle speed?
Sorry dont know what happened with the attachment.
Oh i always run 98 too!

Re: Help with tuning
Desired idle RPM vs Battery voltage tables - three tables for different conditions, neutral, drive and manual trans (not used for you). You have a fair bit of tuning to do, so look through the XDF and get to know the items. Most are named pretty well and explain what they do.darky82 wrote:Where do i change commanded idle speed?
You will need to find out exactly what injectors are in it, there is a parameter to tell the ECU how much they flow.

Re: Help with tuning
i got a set for a mates motor a while back and they were red and 30lbs maybe similar but as VL400 said, need to find correct LB so can calc the right info for them.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Help with tuning
they might be ok, really just need to see what the duty cycle is higher in the rev range. alot of people use the blue tops which i believe at 24lb so hopefully 22 is enough!!

Re: Help with tuning
I will double check again tomorrow because the injectors I was sold are ment to be a better design than the blue tops so should have same rated pressure and flow if not better?
