^^
your going to have to do what you mentioned before, wire in a connector for the pins that must be raised so that you can unplug/plug without desoldering/soldering continuously. Guess we are also assuming the odo calculation will be the same as the previous eeprom bins. Anychance you could throw up a dump from the mcu?

yeah i'll work something out, you will also need to solder all 14 wires as this MCU uses some pins as both input and output he's a dump i assume the first 2 lines are the ODO off and ignition on this cluster has 245.759 K's service warning showing 240.000 2 airbags V6 auto

Might need to do that wire connection alteration, plug the harness in and drive 1 km to see what changes.. as I cant see where the odo would be stored there.. first two lines look most likely but doesnt look like there is any logical progression like the other .bins have.

maybe the dump you grabbed wasn't right/correct? you said that you were having trouble with it previously.

Well ill compare it with the clusters here in 10-15 days when the programmer rolls up

Good job madmn!
Did the clean dump show the correct odo value in the program?

Do anything different to your setup for a clean dump?

worked first time exactly as it should have maybe putting it back together reset things

it programmed 230000 and the read read back 230000, awesome

in the next couple of days i'm going to clone my single cluster to this one i should then have no warnings. i will have all the info from my cluster VIN security PIN and so on, hopefully work out whats whats as i'll make a small board with DIP switches to connect the MCU back and forth and then reassemble the cluster as a permanent tester

at least now we know it can be done and i'm the first to put it on the internet

Will this use the same security PIN that the BCM uses?

the EEprom will have all of the cars information but first we are going to have to decipher it, it's nothing like the other clusters with chips

BTW if anyone is curious and i've seen talk about it, when the ODO reaches 999999 and it ticks over it will display ODOErr and despite the myths it doesn't return to 000000
