It started to pull 6 deg due to a sensor fault at exactly 56 deg still. Are you making changes with TP in emulation mode? The PDF "TunerPro RT Setup using OSEPlugin.pdf" shows how to do online (RT) and offline changes .. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=590

another way to do it to ensure it works.

use the flashtool to get the latest cal file out of the car, then edit this in tunerpro, then save and then use the flashtool to push it back to the car.

I have never used the flashtool, I have been trying to learn 1 thing at a time.

After reading the guide again, the only thing I didn't do was "download current Bin to Emulator" I already have a Bin which I have set up using my original tune.

When I was running the car I had Enabled Emulation so wouldn't this mean the car was running on what was in front of me in Tunrpro and not what is currently in the ECU? Or should I have "Uploaded Current Bin to Emulator"

If the tunes are in sync, then all is well. If your not sure if they are or they are not, then uploading the whole calibration to the car with either the flashtool, or with the "upload current bin to emulator" fuction in tuner pro will get you to a known starting point.

When you make changes with emulation enabled, depending on tuner pros setup the changes might upload as soon as you hit enter, or you might need to click an upload button. When the changes are sent to the car, tunerpro will emit a high pitched double beep, and flash a green "upload success" down the bottom for a moment. If the beep doesnt happen, or is a low pitched beep with red "upload failed' down the bottom, then the changes did not save on the car.

I uploaded current bin to emulator and there is definately a difference. I played with the idle a little to confirm that what I was doing was actually changing the sound coming out the load pipes.... they where

So I took the car out for another blocky and the current tables are lean all over, so i have crept up on the inj flow rate and it's currently sitting at 0.1104. I took a log of the last drive and it looks to me to be somewhere around the mark. There are still studders and spikes and the idle is way higher than before but I can actually put some load on the motor without it cracking and farting. You can see in the log I held the brake in 2nd and tried to put a few rev's in under load.

So from here should I be still looking for anything else before I start playing with the VE tables? or do you guy's recon I still have a setting wrong or the injector rate is still a little on the lean side.

watching the log over and over I think I still need more fuel across the board, maybe even some AE.....? true?

I wouldnt say you need fuel across the board, mainly around 60/70kpa 2800->3600 RPM and 20/30 kpa @ 3200,3600 rpm to fix those lean spikes as you cross that area. (the snapshot on the right hand side is from with the 'graph' checkbox selected, and 3d graph rotated to look 2d (click on the graph, hold down ctrl and use the arrow keys). This makes it easier to see whats what, and cut n pasted in to this pic for illustration).

To make things easyer to interpret Ive also got the wideband and target AFR range set to 10->20 in the adx.

Also, if you have not enabled data tracing, that helps when replaying logs to see where the ecu is getting the data in realtime.

That awesome Antus!!! thats heaps easier to see!!!
Any MAP value below about 60 is over run and you will see that there is no throttle opening, so the AFR is obviously spiking badly.... sounds good backfiring on over run but will it be an issue for the motor?

Clearly I still have a fair bit of playing and learning when it comes to analysis....
It's a bit unfortunate I can't just burn around the block for an hour at a time and do a fair amount of tuning in one hit... The cops would be sniffing round for sure

I might stick with the current setting for a bit, decrease the idle a fair amount and smooth out the VE table....

just gotta find some open road

more fuel LOL heres a bit of a fixed up ve tablethat will hopefully get it a bit richer its lean at full throttle and a lot of the higher rpm areas dont start lean and richen up start rich and lean out.its commanding 12.5:1 at full throttle but you are seeing high 13.6:1 ish

What is the best way to drop the idle??? I think I still have a bit of idle adjustment left on my throttle blade (I hope). Retard a bit of timing ?
