Creating a good VE or Inj Mul Table
I would love to be a software developer or at least have a good enough grasp to do something anyway...
TP5 doesn't have a smooth between boundaries or intepolate between boundaries function, nor does it have a hi low & middle color range that doesn't actually limit the allowable setting in that cell (I Know it has Hi Low with blue red but if set it also stop any adjustements above or below that limit).
Hence why I've just started to incorporate HP tuner VE table to copy paste the Inj Mul table but it kinda sucks although it has all the above options it can't be directly pasted into TP after made the adjustments it needs to be pasted into Excel & then into TP5!
Does anyone else have a better idea or am I not using TP to it's full potential?
if anyone wants to see screen shots for examples let me know!

Im not sure what your asking (whats a boundary in the context of what your asking?)
Yes I dont think you can select colours (green to red seems more natural han aqua to red), but you can colourise the table by turning on use high range and use low range and setting them to the limits of the colour range your after. If the colours arnt clear enough at the min and max allowable values then you can set them to a more narrow range and you can still edit outside of that range. Eg for VE you might set "use low range" to 50, and "use high range" to 100, and should you need a value of 40 can still be entered.. see here in the 20kpa/400rpm cell.
If 'smooth between boundaries' you mean smooth a selection, then yes you can select the area you want and smooth it.

Oh Cool Thanks Antus, had noticed the smooth range in selection tool up the top but hadn't tried it, with the boundaries yeah it's just like the slection you have chosen there & then smoothed.
I know previously when I've tried the hi low range it's showed items out of those ranges, but if you save the edited items out of the boundary next time you open it, it was just saved as the max hi limit, but again I haven't tried it for the last year or so as I knew it was an issue & may have been fixed?

Your right, it still does that. I'll report it to Mark. Probably nobody has noticed and told him.

I Think I have told or was going to but wasn't sure how to explain it, but coming from someone like you he'll understand better!
It's funny how when you do make hi low changes, they don't fully take effect till you close the open table that you changed & then re-open it & BINGO!

in the mean time you could just set low low enough for the data

Re: Creating a good VE or Inj Mul Table
Yeah I tried that but with big varying range colors are a bit wishy washy!
Have you used HP tuners software antus?
The way the colors on there tables & the different methods of smoothing are SWEET!

Yes, I have used most of the LS1/L98 apps at some stage, but not as heavily as I have used Tunerpro. I have used EFI Live more than HPT (and prefer it), and its colours are clearer too. I asked about configurable colours when I reported the above to Mark (and I gave the link to this thread). So heres hoping.

Re: Creating a good VE or Inj Mul Table
There is a "colors" tab in preferences where you can adjust it. But yes, the best in terms of colour shading is EFILive. The way their 3D graphs are draw is alittle odd but you get used to it...
