Re: RH cylinder bank running richer..
Interesting... Makes sense too air forcing from T-body to the drivers side, but then wouldn't it make it leaner on right bank as the injectors are only injecting same amount & can't draw extra through?
Re: RH cylinder bank running richer..
it probably doesn't go lean because of the reading from the MAF is somewhat delayed and they calibrated it so the leanest side is rich enough, leaving the side receiving less air to just be rich.
Re: RH cylinder bank running richer..
Following that logic shouldn't the rich side be the left side then? Not the right side which gets more air?

Yeah thats what I thought?
Re: RH cylinder bank running richer..
im not sure I follow the richer logic at all.... inside the plenum chamber the runners are all in one single file line. so how can it pick runners 1,3,5 to flow more air into ? lol

Re: RH cylinder bank running richer..
they are slightly offset from side to side but not alot.
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Fluid dynamics? Air doesn't always go where you expect it to.
air entering the runners on the tb side has a larger change in direction from where it enters the plenum than the other side

Re: RH cylinder bank running richer..
you can check plenum in one of my posts, porting it for me found to improve distribution though i still left the thick walls between the two ports that intake after each other. LTFT difference is smaller now.
