you can actually but the ignition module quite cheap, goto supercheap, repco, autopro etc and ask for a "bim 148"
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Hah, so that seems pretty straight forward, the next two issues that then occur are this.
What signal does the delco computer need (as in square/sawtooth/sine/etc).
And secondly if there's no 3 cylinder maps available I'm shooting in the dark to begin with yes?

The camira/BIM148 uses a reluctor sensor, the output is like a sine wave. The second picture in this thread has a scope trace of a reluctor sensor .. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/view ... =11&t=2913
Not only are there no maps for a 3 cyl engine but the ECU does not support a 3cyl. Its possible to get it working, just not going to be the easiest introduction to tuning a delco!

Wowee, such an effort for a 3 cylinder.
Might see if I can find a weber 32/36 first - if not in for the long haul - could keep this as a side project though.
Do I need a dyno to set up a fuel map? or can you suffice with a wideband O2 sensor?

can do it all on the road with a wideband

The Daewoo Matiz is a 3 cylinder delco if I recall correctly.
Although i'm fairly sure it doesn't have a distributor.
Is there anyway to extract a map from an ECU?

The more modern stuff on the daewoos is similar to the ecus on the opels, but different enough to the '808 to not be terribly useful. They would share common code and do share some hardware such as IAC valves and some sensors but with the price of the '808s being about $25 there isnt much incentive to invest the time to figure them out.

just putting it out there perhaps a 6 cylinder option running DIS and 3 wasted spark dfus with only one lead on each coild pack??? its a bit crude but would it work?

Yes, but as VL400 says:
It would be possible to make it work though.VL400 wrote:There is no 3 cyl support so you will have to fudge the RPM readings in TunerPro and when tuning anything RPM related.
