explains why so many of the vs to vt engines just randomly spin bearings. by my local mechinc's observation. nearly all VS engine just drop dead at the 250 -300k mark, all with spun bearings.
So to me its clear the casting issue was more common during the early days then steadily improved towards the end. like I never hear VX and VY engine fail this way. VT sometimes, VS is like a ticking time bomb lol
last year I won this very nice VS on ebay, went to pick it up, checked over the car. tested the engine out, seemed alright, gave it a moderate rev and it failed right there and then. I walked away from that deal
