Re: OSE 12P V111
Can we use 1 of the flex inputs with a second map to take readings?

They are flex outputs. You can try adding a second map on pin B12 if you wanted. It wont automatically correct for baro but can log it.

Re: OSE 12P V111
what actually is the need for it, you live in a very hilly area or something ?
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: OSE 12P V111
Turbo or NA? If its NA the ECU will correct the baro just fine.

Re: OSE 12P V111
na to start with but i would like to add turbo latter.
Flying a gyro may not require full throttle to gain altitude
and losing altitude usually requires little or no throttle
as i understand your explanation on how the system works
the ecu may not update
Is this right?

Re: OSE 12P V111
Your probably going to need to look at an ECU that uses a baro sensor, it will be descending thats going to cause the issue if no throttle is required. Ascending will be ok if the RPM is between 1200 and 3600RPM and TPS > 37.5%.

It will be great if you can put together some more info on this.I would like to learn more about this.
I think descending is not so much of a problem,
Thinking more about it, no throttle is not often used for long periods
Tell me if i am wrong but the O2 sensor would help trim mixtures.and if i set VE so it doesnt go to lean
It is still going to be better than a carby with no altitude compensation
What do you think?
