you will get close to 340 without a cam on 15psi just turn it up till you get the number

If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

hahaahah yeah well 15's the limit, its only got 2 bar map and probably a nice safe limit for a stock motor!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

you could get 20psi in there just dont let it rattle at all and the gaskets/engine will survive

Re: Mint VP V6 Sedan soon to be boosted!
well its official .... the motor is fucked
did a leak down test on the driver side of the motor (cause its easy) and cylinder 2 is pretty much blowing straight into the crankcase and out the valley breather! the other two cylinders on that side were perfect and I didn't bother doing the hard side cause ... 1 or 4 fucked its got to come out!
it looks like its going to have to go in the corner for a while, the brother has other things on the cards he needs to finance first so this will have to wait!

well it was, and I've just finished putting the heads back on ittrikky73 wrote:hopefully it might only be a blown head gasket

spoke to my engine reconditioning mate and he reckons its probably got too hot down the side of the piston and grabbed the bore just enough to deform the ring land and keep the ring stuck in the groove!
but yeah it does suck a bit! I guess that's the gamble we took when we just did the head gaskets!

Re: Mint VP V6 Sedan soon to be boosted!
its not the end
just a minor setback! but yeah its disappointing. I was looking forward to dyno tuning it tomorrow to see what figures it made!
the up side to it, when it goes back together it will likely have better pistons and a more boostable cam hopefully!
