What memcal is in the PCM? Standard or modified? If its standard what 4 letter code and number is the silver sticker on the memcal? Will be something along the lines of CJDN 1927 or CDWA 3957.

Other than being able to read part of the memcal code your prob not going to find the flashtool all that useful. It will be able to read the parts showing the BCM linking info but wont be able to write to it.

Can you also resize images before posting. A 4 MB jpg is huge and takes about a minute to download on my slow interwebs

Well I have two memcals but have been using the standard one for testing. There is no silver sticker on the side of the memcal however 72444 27998 1 is written on the side of it. Is there a difference in the ones you are asking?

Apologies for the slow interwebs but I am uploading straight from my phone and there is no reduction in size offered. Any ideas on that?

Apologies for the next photo too....

It also says these are 950kb photos instead of 4mb so I have no idea what is happening with the photos :typist:

Hi you have to look under the blue cover to see the four letter code on the standard one.
As for the other trx100 memcal throw it in the bin. ;)

Then what is the point of that memcal then???

Curious to know the meaning of the memcal numbers though.

Side question. Is there any way of using the empty plug on the gearbox inhibitor switch to show what gear is selected (on a custom display)?
