That's what I thought last time but this time I have the blm low temp maxed out while doing all the setting I take it that's the difference once I burn the memcal. Also is it best practice to put the blm low temp back to 80deg

Why bump the spark up from 10? The point of having an idle advance less than MBT is so the ECM has a torque reserve that it can use when the revs drop. If you are idling at MBT timing the ECM can only slow the engine down via spark and has to rely on the (slower) iac adjustment to increase engine speed.

The engine still idles around 10deg on the gauge setup after I got it smoothed out and not hunting.

opening the injectors for too short of a time makes idle hunt badly too and just off idle surging.i just fixed one car with 42lb greentops setting narrow pulsewidth settings to 1.22ms and 1.44ms slight load lowered idle enough to make the injectors only open some times from a too short pulsewidth
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem
