Re: Trigger points for CAS.
Now I know which direction I will be going the next thing I want too ask is the size of the notches in the ring determined by the sensor you chose too use or can I just make them between 3-5mm?
Re: Trigger points for CAS.
The sensor won't make too much difference, most ABS reluctor sensors are pretty similar. You might have to run a shorter sensor gap with smaller notches, but using a thicker ring plate would mitigate that to some degree.
Something around 3-5mm should be fine, Bosch used <3mm teeth on their 60-2 CAS and those ECUs were rev limited by interrupt processing rather than signal degradation.

Re: Trigger points for CAS.
I should have two abs sensors from the diff of a VY, so I'll see how well I could fit one too the timing cover and go from there.
Re: Trigger points for CAS.

Re: Trigger points for CAS.
I have noticed that there's a few modules that indicted their compatible with the D1929a, how true is this for what I'm going too use it for or should I just stick with the Delco unit?

Re: Trigger points for CAS.
avoid the 1929a - its for a 4 cylinder and also incompatible with the 808 even for 4 cyl applications.
Have you read the FAQ? For lots of information and links to significant threads see here: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1396
Re: Trigger points for CAS.
Think I just put d1929a by mistake was d1928a that I was looking at.
