A simple setup without ecu could be a maf, feed 12v and hook scope onto output pin then read freq, lookup maf tables for value. Scope second channel on map sensor for voltage.

good idea but dont need scope. can read frequency on a multimeter :P

It depends on your multimeter :P

Another option would be something like http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/0-5-9999Hz-R ... 1474133497 though you'd need a large enough MAF to keep the frequency below 10khz.

Or pull any denso brand maf off anything at the wreckers. Common on mazda, probably mitsutbishi and subaru too. Use the 0-5v output.

If you want TunerPro logging with a freq MAF, the loggerV2 can do 0-30KHz with almost 1Hz resolution for the full range.

nice have done some more yards today hope to have a hole in my cabinet later with the 4" mounted down the hole and 2 vacs with map hooked up before bed if i can find my jigsaw

mounted it in the cabinet allready flowing the head seeing where the air wants to go allready found some interesting findings

so one vacuam can make around 68kpa on the map sensor with closed valves and low valve lifts arnt much less after a quick play around with the logger.its not an accurate number the logger doesnt like running a map sensor off usb power not quite enough grunt.
