delco equipped head flow bench
Re: delco equipped head flow bench
A simple setup without ecu could be a maf, feed 12v and hook scope onto output pin then read freq, lookup maf tables for value. Scope second channel on map sensor for voltage.
Re: delco equipped head flow bench
good idea but dont need scope. can read frequency on a multimeter

It depends on your multimeter
Another option would be something like http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/0-5-9999Hz-R ... 1474133497 though you'd need a large enough MAF to keep the frequency below 10khz.

Or pull any denso brand maf off anything at the wreckers. Common on mazda, probably mitsutbishi and subaru too. Use the 0-5v output.

If you want TunerPro logging with a freq MAF, the loggerV2 can do 0-30KHz with almost 1Hz resolution for the full range.

Re: delco equipped head flow bench
so one vacuam can make around 68kpa on the map sensor with closed valves and low valve lifts arnt much less after a quick play around with the logger.its not an accurate number the logger doesnt like running a map sensor off usb power not quite enough grunt.
