I think you've got the wrong copy there, it shouldnt be saying 'reading echo'... thats for the 1 wire ALDL connections with echo.

Try the non-echo version (for '808 with 2 wire max232):

The USB board has echo so you will need to use that version.

I have tried both version 7's of antusprom even 5 the only one that seems to do anything at all is the one with echo.
Yet flashtool doesn't have any dramas connecting works perfect even the older version .
Do they use the same connection methods ? other then running the extra pair.

VL400s comms code is better than mine :wtf: Now I have compared the two i have an idea what mine would need to make it better, but im not sure if its worth re-visiting. Maybe I should take another look at it. I'd rather forget dos, though.

Thanks i did notice with the echo when it reads and gets 68 bytes it continues to the next address but before it does it seems to get random bytes on read
And non echo says it is reading 74 bytes is that part of the problem ?

This was the exact same problem I was having with antusprom as it is the same USB board. Flash 1.15 works for emulating but can't log at the same time.

Yeah i am considering buying the rs232 just to have both working but then i would have to use an old shitty laptop i have with a serial port wich i haven't used for years probably has stuffed batteries by now .
Or the wideband with a gauge wich i want to get anyway.
I am sure they can sort something out they have come this far
it's way over my head .
