i forgot you using 12p use the closed throttle VE table and set the idle spark all matching would be easier
If Its Got Gas Or Ass Count Me In.if it cant be fixed with a hammer you have an electrical problem

At this stage we are using this naturally aspirated, so i can short cut a new project that I'll start later this year.

this thing isn't going to run too well with my 202 spark and ve tables ....
you need to change them to a stock v6 spark and ve tables then go from there....

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

whats the easiest way to take the spark & VE tables from a standard bin & install them to another ? Or do I have to type them individually.

Use the compare function in tunerpro.v6bucket wrote:whats the easiest way to take the spark & VE tables from a standard bin & install them to another ? Or do I have to type them individually.
Load up a standard bin into a one of the 4 comparison slots, then open the table, click compare and the comparison data is displayed.
Copy the entire table, click compare again to go back to your working bin and paste the values over the top.
Otherwise, open the std bin copy the tables to excel then paste back when you have the meth bin open.

straight compare doesnt work with differing code bases have to keep opening and closing the xdf's to suit each bin as well and make sure you select the matching rpm and map values as they have different rpm spacings makes it a little harder to copy tables over some cells you will have to just roughly guess values to get started then tweak to suit using blm numbers or wideband readings.TP5 is good can run 2 tunerpros at once but i dont use TP5 for editing i dont trust it after having issues with it but it can open then open an instance of tunerpro v4 for the bin you want to edit and switch between the 2 or pull the VE and spark out the $12p ose bin of mine for V6 will be close and easy

I actually tried what darcy described & found that it wasn't successful that's why I asked was there an easier method.

Copy and paste to excel is my preference, then you can get ti to interpolate the missing rpm steps for you.
...or copy 202's is probably your quickest solution.

What wire should I tape into to get an input from the map sensor? I will not have access to the car until tomorrow arvo.Holden202 wrote:yeah she definately looks lean ....
if you can get a map sensor input into lm1 that should be all you need to tune with the wideband
also can you upload a copy of your current bin, i'd liike to have a gander at what numbers you have in it....

well i got a second map sensor and ran it directly off my ssi4 dataloggers +5v output .... so im not sure how you do it with the LM1 .... light green wire (centre of map sensor plug) is the "data" wire though ...
EDIT: after thinking about it, it should work, its just a 0-5v signal going into the LM1
