assuming you can log total pulse width time you can use this formula for duty cycle %

(TotalPulseTime/(120/RPM))

yeah it works great, I got it originally as I was seeing slight lean out on the dyno in the top end, turns out with the data from this sensor I was able to see that I was loosing pressure on boost when it was supposed to be going up with boost!

but yeah pretty straight forward, you use the loggers 5v supply and tap it into a aux input, then your away, i'll have to check my sensor, im not sure what pressure I got, but if its the same this is my logger calc "X / 10.24 - 10"

my adx has 80psi as the max range so maybe that's what I have .... either way if it shows rising or dropping numbers that's all you really need to know...

Always a good solution to be found on this forum :)

For a while I thought I'd got the tune totally wrong as it should have been pig rich to start with so I was surprised when it was as lean as it was (15:1). Strangely enough the car was filled with 95 from Caltex just before the power run was done....... I wonder......

Waiting to hear back from the owners wife, she was trying to get this sorted for him for Xmas without his knowledge. Ahhhh, young love.

Fuel flow issues may explain other things as well.

I've attached a screen shot of a run at the fathers day drags. 1st gear the revs rise very cleanly with a good clean curve for both RPM and injector DC, at the start of the 2nd gear both RPM and DC curves become very jagged which could well be possible if fuel flow/volume was an issue. :hmm:

id say right about 3:01.5 you peaked them out and they went static from pulse. Depending on injectors depends on how much you can stretch them till they go static, EV14 or new style injectors alot of them can go right to 98/99% before going static where as EV1/6 are 90-93%

They are super 6 injectors. Not 100% exactly which version but will be EV1/6 type injector.

Thing is, no way should this engine be getting this close to maxing injectors. Their is enough injector to support 430hp @ 80% DC if I have my numbers correct but in it's current configuration it's not even making 400hp.

Yeah, sure will.

I see they do a 1600psi sensor, perfect for a nitrous kit to monitor bottle pressure :D

Sensor has arrived. Should be able to trial it on the vehicle early in the new year.
