Can it be said that using the peak MGC at x amount of RPM can somewhat show where in the RPM band the torques falls off and where to start advancing timing again?
Could you say that this is where peak fill occurs and therefore will not make much if any torque past this point, and at that point the ADVANCE can start creeping back in?

Yeah I experimented with this a while ago & yeah where you find peak MGC try taking timing out & see if it increases or decreases & that should theoretically be MBT & then continue for all other areas!
