is it VR have a good look at the cam bearings lost count of how many vr models have had them spinning or falling out normally takes out the rest of the bearings after and causes the old piggybacked bigend bearings causing engine lockup.this is series 1 bearings after high km and lots of boost and limiter and thin as hot oil LOL dont mind the flat one it was used to roll new top shells in while engine was together LOL

its a VP engine, cam bearings are fine.

So VN ones only have 1 hole per shell? and dont seem to have the oil groove extend into the bottom shells like mine do.

I have noticed that on my big ends the shells have been fretting in the bores, they can be closed up fully by hand without bolting them, so there is almost no crush. I think that may contribute to spinning them in many engines with good oil pressure. They seem to be too loose lol. Im getting them resized with ARP bolts so that will make them bullet proof.

I heard many gluing the cam bearings in with epoxy.

Will let them know this tomorrow or Monday. Otherwise its a damn awesome job. The finish on the faces is awesome, so smooth its more than good enough for MLS even.
0.010" was removed and they cleaned up awesome as. Best surfacing I have ever seen to be honest.

its got new exhaust seats. Crow cam springs performance springs for 308 V8 as the V6 springs they said were too weak and the next ones up were way too much for my cam.
So the specs are 110lb at seat and 265lb at max lift?

multi angle valve job with back cut, radiused seats and blended. They said the ports are not the best as there is material missing from some key areas that would make them better. They can't add cast iron only take it away

also holden do happen to have a few pairs of lifter guides lets, about 5 pairs nation wide. so I have ordered 2 pairs at 66 a pair (discounted price  ) , not cheap considering about 12 bucks from the USA when they were available. They also happen to have exactly 2 sets of VR bearing type rocker pedestals left, 24 in total in the country lol.

21 each normal price so its not too bad, cheaper than from the USA which are NLA too. Might order those next time once I confirm they are a direct fit for VP as well.
