The V6 bins use a fairly different method of AE, compare AE and manifold fuel params to a V8 bin. I tried the V6 AE method on my car for a while and it was difficult to get a handle on.

There are also things like "Idle Fuel Param - VE table filter coefficient at idle" that is very different in V6 and V8, it causes lean spots if the AE is not setup.

Id almost suggest starting with a BLCF V8 bin, chucking in the main settings (inj rate, cyl count, ref angle, VE, spark etc) and see how it runs.

I found it pretty easy so far. but I've only played with the multiplier table.
I'm the director of VSH (Vlad's Spec Holden), because HSV were doing it ass about.

its easy enough to do, just takes a lot of trial and error, maybe it was just the motor I tuned, was 355 with group a manifold and big cam .... it stumbled badly on the throttle application, but it needed massive increase low in the revs, probably a combination of a big cam and massive plenum! once it was over about 3000rpm the stock tune AE was almost perfect!

I have used the BLCF bin as suggested by VL400, I did load the last bin that Dylan modded but I must have done something wrong because it wouldn't load, so I will try it tomorrow.
The results. It does seem to be better but still a lean period at the 1400/1600 rpm, but I don't think it's quite as bad. I added fuel at the appropriate cells, then bumped the "AE Mutiplier vs Engine Rpm table" 15/20% at the lower end which I think helped. Ignore the KnockBlock in the log as I have adjusted the timing since. At 52:36 to 52:46 It shows the lean period at a steady throttle position, it may show something to indicate what the issue may be. I noticed that the "AE delta fuel threshold" & "DFCO Asynch AE multiplier to BPW" are different to the other bin that I've been using, should these adjusted to the same as the previous bins?

yeah I do the same thing. just log it at various rpm throttle stabs and watch the WB.

series 2 v6 without bellmouth needs tons of AE, much more than vn series one, but then again I have good exhaust, larger TB and good intake.

A bit more adjustment today. I kept bumping the AE table up, it seems to be better when you stab the loud pedal, but I'm not sure if it has had an effect on the 1400prm lean spot. I have also pulled some more timing at wot, so ignore the pin B12 reading.

I need some help, I've bumped the AE table up until it has maxed out at 2.55 at 1600 rpm, whilst it has improved it still runs lean. Any other suggestions? The rest of the tune isn't to bad, it drives quite well.

have to played with manifold fuel setting?

I understand its the contribution of fuel vapor in the manifold that acts like AE, reducing this number mean actual AE is increased? and vice versa.

Im sure VL400 can confirm this.

but if your saying that at steady throttle and rpm its still lean at that point im more inclined to think its VE more so than AE!
