Haha. This was agreed before the building of the "new" shed. I really don't want to give her a bad wrap, she is very patient. Even considering letting me bring home a couple more cars, so I can t complain.HQ355 wrote:Or do what I do ! One set of keys, and there allways on me lol

Re: The man cave.
I'm a little confused as to why no one has asked what the two new cars are.

who cares - they are cars. thats what matters
I can't hide shit from my wife as she is always one step ahead and knows what I think, so, forgiveness it is.
Back on topic my shed is too small (height) for a mezz but fully intend on putting a storage area in the peak, just using some of the flooring material with the yellow tongue in it. Thats reasonably priced and effective. I'd get some 50x50 RHS and bolt it to the respective purlins.
Agreed Vlad alot of this stuff is super expensive now - best place to find raw materials demolition places and gumtree. Used to be ebay but that is expensive now.

Haha. Finally bring my dads lj Torana Gtr up from Sydney to begin its restoration. The other one, which is touch and go atm, is an evo ix. The evo will be my turn key track weapon appliance. While I enjoy building my commy, there's a lot to be said for a car the put tyres on and fuel in the tank, race it for the weekend and the maybe give it a wash.HQ355 wrote:Ok, what are the new cars ?

What would you be putting up there? 50x50 may be a little light, even in 2.4 depending on the span. How do you plan to lift stuff up there?psyolent wrote: Back on topic my shed is too small (height) for a mezz but fully intend on putting a storage area in the peak, just using some of the flooring material with the yellow tongue in it.
