I surely have and I can't seem to get it to recognize the USB adaptor once I get that to work I assume it will connect to the ecu

so you have selected OSEPlugin v1.1.0 in both drop downs in the data acuisition tab in tp5?
have you selected the correct com port in the "configure plugin component" screen and ticked cable echo? also make sure in the Aquisition > Edit Definition screen that RS232 Echo is off.

my usb interface works fine when set up as above.

cheers jayme i have tried all version and all settings on and off i have been playing all through the night and could not get any results the adaptor works fine with flashtool but i cannot get it to recognise it in tp5 i have tried several laptops ans desktops also and mutiple com ports just want to do some logging/tracing!

Since you dont have the nvram yet, try using the standard tp5 logging driver, instead of the plugin. It'll work for logging, the plugin is only needed to realtime tune at the same time.

i have tried using the tp5 standard logging driver and it says i have a valid interface and cable but i cannot get it to give me and logging info i have tried using the adx file to suit my car $11 but it makes no difference. sorry guys i am a begginer diving in the deep end here :(

its all working guys it seems i had a problem with my aldl port on the vehicle i can do logging/tracing now :punk:
