so replaced the resistor on my VX yesterday. all good. i have all speed fanny. nothing like good intermittent speed fanny.
took one of the calipers apart i had for the track car from the passenger side. came apart fine, pistons are good, still had clean fluid inside it which is good. TBH would have been ok but want to go full VSH spec as they are brakes.
for the slides, i read two competing things. use rubber grease, or some other type of grease. which one?

Re: Gregs Fleet
Use the right high temp grease, standard grease melting point is to low, especially for a race car that will see plenty of heat in the brakes.
Permatex make the good stuff, available in small satchels which have more than enough to do all the calipers on one car.

Re: Gregs Fleet
so the kit from GM comes with the lube/grease you need for the caliper.

cleaned and apart / painted
and all back together

will fit it up tomorrow on the VT.
