Issues connecting with usb link 2 j2534
Hello, I am trying to connect to my 02 sierra via PCM hammer with a usb link 2 and I get the following message in the debug log.

Try updating its firmware and device driver.

I just updated to the latest driver and firmware and am still receiving the same message

It just says failed to set protocol. I think your interface does not support VPW.

The only reason a J2534 scantool cannot connect to a protocol is if its not supported.the_hermie wrote:I just updated to the latest driver and firmware and am still receiving the same message
Its on my todo list to read out all supported protocols from the J2534 device to indicate whats supported.

I just checked Nexiq's website, the usb link 2 supports j1850 but not j1850 vpw, antus was right on.
