Yes E11 is a gas pin.
Depending on the gas system you may also have wires in E1 and A9.

Thanks for the info.

The motor is driving a pully that has steel wire around 8mm diamater running between another pully and tensioners etc.

This loom i was looking at has the pink ecu plugs i also have anoher one here thats been raided with brown ecu plugs. Its a VT V6 style loom. Is it anything different? It has no gearbox plugs on it i only have it for parts so could of been cut off i havnt stripped the tape off it.

I will get some pics once finished.

Got all the loom today now to start at it.
Owner want nothing but engine loom and ecu. No BCM cluster or anything else.

The alternator has me worried about wiring the charge side. Can i put a resistor aceoss the back of it?
Say from sense terminal to light pin?

yeah no reason you cant. but go from ign power to resistor to L terminal. the light is only a resistor from the point of view of the alternator. just go get one approx same reistance as a light globe.

Been to auto electrician about running alteranator without charge light.
Fitted an exciter diode on the charge wire. So white wire to battery as normal and brown wire that normally goes to globe goes to a switched ignition 12v.

Got this running today with new wiring all good.

One problem though, before I changed the wiring it had BCM and cluster hooked up.
It practically had the whole car wiring on the ground plugged in.
When the engine was running with this set up the fans were on the whole time.

Even now with just the modified engine loom they are on.
I will take my laptop out next time and check for codes.

Engine runs fine but I'm taking that as a sign of a major problem?

With BCM removed won't be responding to ECU as BCM controls low speed fans, when this happens ECU automatically turns on high speed fans, the same thing happens when logging and you tell the BCM to shut up.
Disable DTC 92 in the tune and adjust the high speed fan temps down to the same as the low speed settings.
