vt 10psi turbo memcal

Post by nathanzook »

hi i have a vt 3.8 ecotech with the vt 4l60e auto powered vitara comp 4x4 that i am turboing, the turbo is a gt3582, i'v read that for better performance to run a ls1 air flow meter, is this true? at the most i want to run 10psi, i have a rising rate fuel pressure reg if i need it and was going to use 36lb injectors, at the moment i have a standard vt memcal with the vats removed because im running a standalone harness, is anyone able to do a memcal for me? and any advice on set up would be apreciated. Also should the maf go before the turbo or before the throtle body (after turbo).

cheers, nathan

The maf should go in the bin. Where are you located? Will help to find some tuner in your area.

I think THE1 may be somewhere around that area, but my geography isn't the best so I could be wrong!

Even if not he does a GREAT supported mail order type tuning!

MAF will be fine in either push or pull airflow, but before the TB is best for response.

Rocky is a fair way from me lol! Toowoomba

Kojab, let me know where your bin is.

I thought there's no easy way to run the 4L60E with an 808 conversion?
