VX ecotec won't hold first gear

Post by darky82 »

I have set manual 1-2 upshift %tps vs kph table to 205.2 in all and the box still shifts into second gear when first is selected.
There are no other tables for manual shift.
What am I missing?

Don’t think it’s manual. Pretty sure it’s hot

I was about to say the same thing, there are a number of items that need changing but not all will be defined in the XDF.

Post up the bin file you’re using and I’ll have a look.

Thanks guys
i thought there might have been something missing as the VY had more definitions.
Also tried to write the enhanced bin to the PCM but i got a file type mismatch error when trying so i just used the factory bin a pulled.

EDITED
Original information deleted as incorrect.

Correct change is:
To get the vehicle to hold first gear in D1 change $01 to $00 at $424F.
