2007 VE LY7 Flashing Options - Need Help
Hi all, I have a 2007 Holden VE Calais with a LY7 and 5L40E. The motor had some bottom end knock, so I bought a 2009 VE LY7 motor, stupidly thinking it would be compatible with my 07 LY7 motor... Turns out the cam sensors are different on the replacement motor (same physical outer diameter size, sam...

LY7 Variants and Compatibility - Cam sensors
Hey All, I have a 2007 VE Commodore with LY7 motor (10H7T) with 5L40E that developed a knock from cyclinder 6. I bought a 2009 VE Commodore LY7 motor from the wreckers to swap over that was factory LPG setup and came from a manual (10B1U) I've swapped over the intake, knock sensors, coolant temp sen...

Holden VY BCM Control Questions
Hey All, I now have my dash working without needing to use the VY gauge cluster, and I want to tidy up my wiring by removing the BCM if I can. The car is a 1985 Pontiac TransAM running an LS1 and most of the body wiring harness is now from a VY commodore. I originally had the VY dash in there and al...

Re: VY LS1 A/C Wiring - Custom Setup
So My new #6 join with thr R12 thread for the sensor to attach arrived and the sensor is a different thread/size. I'm going to bypass the sensor entirely and just use the EVAP switch to turn everything on. Am I correct in that as soon as the PCM detects the clutch is on it will assume the a/c is on ...

Re: VY LS1 A/C Wiring - Custom Setup
No worries.
Sounds like it's easier to just bypass BCM all together and run a new circuit and relay direct to PCM EVAP and compressor.

VY LS1 A/C Wiring - Custom Setup
Hey All, I'm just wanting to understand how the A/C Clutch is enabled on a VY comoddore. I have "most" of the VY wiring including BCM, but would rather have the PCM control the A/C clutch and requests rather than BCM, as I'm not using the VY HVAC or A/C controls. Instead I have VY 0411 Eng...

Re: Fuel Gauge
Thanks Gampy. Yeah I think it's heading down a path I just don't have the knowledge, time or energy to go down. It's going to be just as easy to slap another gauge or make a quick Arduino & display setup to have the fuel shown separately at this point. The OS is the 12225074 which has then be mo...

Re: Trying to get Fuel System working on 12225074 OS for OBD
I dont have an answer for you, but you should be able to read and write it with pcmhammer and configure / segment swap it (if the OS are compatible in that way) with universal patcher. So you can save a bin first to back it up, test all that, and if it works great. If it doesn't clone the original ...

Re: Fuel Gauge
Hi Gampy, I know this thread is a bit old but it seems you might have the answer to my problems as well :) I have a 12225074 tune upgraded to HPTuners SD RTT OS (127003 i think) from a Holden Commodore Ls1 and I need to segment swap the Fuel segment from a 2002 firebird so I can use my android table...

Trying to get Fuel System working on 12225074 OS for OBD2
Hey All, I'm trying to get my fuel gauge working and it doesn't seem to want to happen. I have a 2000 LS1 Firebird Fuel Tank and sensor and trying to get the fuel level data to pass through the PCM and via OBD2 to an Android Tablet running DashCommand. Everything else is displaying, except for the f...
