can you pm me a good and bad bin file to take a look at? did you pick upload bin or cal in the flashtool? what version of the plugin are you running? upload cal, then pick all files, then the bin would be the correct way.

I was choosing write bin then loading the bin file
I compared the bin files only difference were the changes i made must have been an issue writing them to the nv ram i was using flashtool 1.23
have just updated it may have been to do with bcm chatter i just read over a few things and noticed i didn't have it disabled.
Must have just been a coincidence that the first bin i changed worked.

what a difference in timing tables i was trying several different hsv timing tables.
i just tried one from a custom tune done by greenfoam good shit massive improvement and that was a generic tune for a stock 5 litre for 95 octane fuel .
i run 98 can't wait to get it on a dyno and see what it is capable of with more timing.
With me advancing the cam 2 degrees should i be adding or subtracting timing to suit ?

advancing the cam timing will just make it go better down low with a slight loss at top end .... timing is anyones guess, but roughly will be about 2 degrees before it pings :P

i think my ecotec thermostat is 91 or something i have the on temp at 94 and off at 92 but yeah pretty much whatever works above the thermostat temp.....

for the record i think the stock vs settings are too high!

I second that! why would you make it turn on the low speed fan at 104 deg! it just overheats in traffic when at standstill.
