yeah and you'll see it go higher during flash write operations probably around 550ma, no more than 800.

Good stuff. I have seen a lot worse! Funny enough that's my exact model of bench PSU. Great for this type of stuff. Its useful to see the current draw and get to know what normal is and good to be able to limit it to avoid damage if there is a wiring fault.

If it revs too high that's signs of an air leak. If the throttle is closed it must be getting in somewhere else.

Read the output from the app. You can see how it checksums things and it should be reporting the file is ok and the checksums are good. That's how you know you can trust it, don't need to read it twice. I just went out to the shed, and checked the back of my loom. I think in your picture the connect...

Thats the right one. I sit them the other way, heat sinks up, and in my bench its the top one. In yours its hard to see, but I think its heat sinks down so bottom connector.
