Re: vs ecotec tunning

Rescaling the maf is pretty straight forward and the process is the same regardless of vehicle and software. Force the car into open loop, log commanded afr vs actual afr. Turn that into a correction factor... then apply that correction factor to your MAF tables. The science is in writing an accurat...

Re: 4L60E control settings

Hi gents, thanks for the quick replies :) I'd say the second table as you say is not scaled right or something, because I know most tunes have nothing over 90 psi in them, and i'll also advise against applying too much pressure in the first few cells (ie. 0 tps or 0-6kms) Thanks mate - i'll keep tha...

Re: 4L60E control settings

Sorry to stir up so much dust... but doing a little thread digging ;) Doing some tuning on a couple of 4L60-E's and came up with a curious observation. Comparison below is between the corresponding tables of an XU6 tune (DDRJ2641.bin / $A5K.xdf) & a VY tune (9261296.bin / $060A.xdf) http://image...

Re: Can I recycle some old PC BIOS chips ?

Thanks for the replies guys.

I have a VY Super6 coming to pay me a visit soon. I'll make a memcal with a zif socket and try a few.
If I have a little success I might make a confirmed working list of some of the more common ones.

Cheers,

Can I recycle some old PC BIOS chips ?

Sorry if this has been answered before... I did a quick search but drew a blank. As the title says I have a drawer full of EEPROMS pulled from dead PC hardware. Most of them are 29c011a or 29ee011... a few intel and MX etc etc etc. a quick look at some data sheets shows that many of these are 5v 128...

Re: OSE 12P V111

Re: OSE 12P V111

also there is a $12P ecotec tune i made when i had an ecotec in my torana with T700 and 808 ecm, might be of use to you, it has dual spark maps too, one that pretty closely matches the stock ecotec spark and one for 98 octane fuel! Awesome!! Thanks for the heads-up on that one, should get me in the...
